Creating is like meditation for me. I am in a world of my own. Time just flies away.
I started with wooden ship miniatures on a scale of 1:400, but it takes an extremely long time to build a high-class miniature that is only 10 cm long. When I moved from Zurich to the canton of Jura, the charming Alsace was suddenly on my doorstep. This fascinating region was pure inspiration for me. That's how I developed the effectful design of romantic half-timbered buildings with hard foam panels. The dogged, high-class building of ship miniatures gave way to the relaxed crafting fun of rural scenes.
It sounds unbelievable, but the development of the methods from FORM & PAINT to the present simplicity took 15 years.
